Airheads
In urma cu cateva saptamani am vazut Airheads(1994).
E o comedie...oarecum, despre o trupe rock din Los Angeles-ul de la inceputuil anilor '90.
In centrul actiunii se afla Chaz Darby,vocalul/leaderul trupei(evident), jucat de Brendan Fraser. Chaz e dispus sa faca orice numai sa-si poata promova trupa si sa sparga gheata in show-biz.
Colegii lui de trupa sunt 2 frati, Rex(bass) si Pip(baterie), foarte amuzanti, intepretati de Steve Buscemi respectiv Adam Sandler.
Nu-i un film serios, sau destept...e un film usor, de duminica dupa-amiaza, foarte gustos; are tot ce vrei: comedie, mesaj, suspans, dragoste si un pic de drama...motoare, rock, sunset strip...toma' bun!
In film apar pentru scurte durate de timp Lemmy de la Motorhead, care are si-o replica si Rob Zombie care canta in fundalul unui club.
Coloana sonora e dsiponibila ca album...cap de 'afis'fiind 'Born to Raise Hell' de la Motorhead.

The Doors, The movie
Azi(noapte pe la 2) am vazut pentru prima oara filmul "The Doors(1991)"
E despre inceputurile trupei The Doors,ascensiunea si sfarsitul fenomenului "Doors"...si viata omului ce-a facut totul posibil... Jim Morrison.
Personajul principal, Jim...este jucat de Val Kilmer, actor care in ochii mei a ajuns aproape de Tom Hanks in ceea ce priveste valoare artistica.
Lasand deoparte asemanarea fizica extrem de evidenta intre Kilmer si Morrison, actorul a jucat rolul atat de bine incat ai impresia ca-n film apare chiar solistul 'usilor'.
Pur si simplu rolul i-a venit ca o manusa.
Filmul are elemente asemanatoare celor din "Easy Rider(1969)", alt film de referinta, despre care am mai scris AICI.
Diferenta intre cele doua filme este de 22 ani, dar cum am spus, au cate ceva in comun(rock, vise psihadilice, LSD, iarba, hipioti, attitudinea 'contra' a anilor '60).
In film, la un moment dat, Jim chiar are o replica despre "Easy Rider" si Peter Fonda.
Rolul iubitei lui Morrison este jucat de Meg Ryan, care la fel, m-a impresionat...nu ma asteptam sa 'dea' asa bine.
Recomand cu caldura filmul...o sa va placa, mai ales daca aveti rocku'-n suflet, si in special daca ascultati 'Usile'.
Dupa ce-am vazut filmul asta...regret si mai mult ca nu am prins sfarsitul anilor '60 la varsta mea de acum.

Freedom
"George Hanson: You know, this used to be a helluva good country. I can't understand what's gone wrong with it.

Jack Nicholson si Dennis Hopper in filmul "Easy rider" vorbind despre masa populatiei in SUA si cum erau perceputi hipiotii/rockerii si motociclistii pletosi la sfarsitul anilor '60.
Un film de nota 10 despre libertate, exprimare si dobitocimea oamenilor de rand ce nu intelegeau pletele, calatoritul pe motocicleta si noncoformisimul anilor '60.
se potriveste unpic cu ce s-a intamplat si pe la noi in era comunista, in anii '90 (mineriadele)....si poate inca se intampla.
